CIRCA 1800's, FINE WHITEWORK HANDKERCHIEF W/HONITON LACE. Circa early part of the 1800's , this fine large handkerchief measures apprx.17 1/2".The whitework embroidery is beautifully executed with a lovely design of flower swags, meandering vines and flowers with fine fillings. The border of fine Honiton lace adds a complimentary touch . A very elegant handkerchief with the finest quality lawn, embroidery and lace. In mainly excellent condition, one mend on the handkerchief, seems as if it was done in it's time. (Item #ALH34)
