EXQUISITE 19THC. FRENCH NORMANDY LACE BEDSPREAD. Circa late 1800's-early 1900, this is one of the most beautiful composite bedspreads that I have come across. The amount of work is quite amazing, the finest Fond De Bonet, raised satin stitch embroidery, Limerick, Tambour, Cantu bobbin lace, Filet, Tape lace has been used in this incredible bedspread. The original luminous blue-green silk is attached in a few places and matching gorgeous silk rosettes complete this beautiful bedspread.In very good condition, a few spots and a few tiny openings,minor.
