LOVELY CANTON SILK EMBROIDERED SHAWL. Circa late 1800-early 1900, the shawl is quite lovely with beautiful hand embroidery .The design is very pleasing with lovely large cabbage roses scattered throughout the shawl and enhanced with finely worked vines , smaller flowers and leaves. The overall look is quite beautiful .The colors are superb, shades of pink, rose, blue, purple,orange , teal etc. Measuring apprx. 65-66" with additional 20" for macrame fringe.
