CIRCA 1830'S, FINE WHITEWORK PELEGRINE COLLAR. A lovely 19THC. pelegrine collar with double flaps and a wide border of scalloped whitework embroidery. The whitework embroidery is beautifully executed. Measuring apprx.22" around neckline, 11" wide. Many of these early whitework collars have not survived well. This collar is in mainly very good strong condition, there is one seam that might have been done in the 19THC and a few small openings. I consider overall good condition, buyer may return if desired.(Item #ALC7)
