ELABORATE 19THC. BEADWORK VELVET SKIRT PANEL. Quite a amazing panel , ornate embellishment all through this beautiful panel with masses of jet beads and fine silk embroidery. Measuring apprx.43", 66"across bottom of skirt panel and 43" across at the top. There is bead loss on this piece but overall good and strong and basically quite a work of art.Worth keeping as is, or if one can repair beads. I feel this might have been commissioned for a important couture designer of that period. (Item # AT25)
